5 G-Spot Positions
As sex educators, one of the more common topics we get a lot of questions about is G-spot stimulation.
From alluding to its elusiveness and questioning whether it’s worth the hype it gets to wondering how to find it… We’ve got some G-spot focused inspiration and positions here.
Anal Play Checklist
Check out this quick checklist for how to keep anal play fun and pleasurable.
- Are you Ready? Do you have Consent?
Before even beginning to dive in, ask this: have you checked in with your desires? If it's something your partner wants, have you considered your own comfort? Is anal something you want? If not, there's no need to continue. With more widespread conversation about anal sex, more people are feeling pressured to participate with a partner. But without desire or enthusiasm, there is no foundation for pleasure to build from. Make sure to be on the same page.
Ask a Sex Educator: First Time Anal
Q: I want to try anal but never have before. What should I do/try the first time to avoid pain?
A: Anal penetration can be a thrilling and pleasurable activity alone or with partner(s). But getting started can be daunting because of the idea that anal sex hurts – and it can if not done properly. Yet with a little know how and some good lube, you’ll be well on your way to a pain free and (hopefully) fun experience.
Before getting down to what you need for a positive experience, I do want to note that while some folks love anal penetration, others try it and decide it’s not for them. Both are totally ok!
So if you try these suggestions and you just aren’t feeling it, there isn’t anything wrong with you – your body may not enjoy this kind of stimulation and you can continue to explore other types of play.
