In our last post on Gender Neutrality, we explained the societal constructs of sex and gender, and why it was important to keep language neutral and inclusive in safe spaces.

You may be a person who knows this already and so you might be thinking, “I use people’s preferred pronouns, I respect all genders, and I’m cognizant of the ways in which gender and sex are used to oppress people, but I very rarely get a chance to show people that I understand this because I don’t meet very many trans or nonbinary people.”

After reading The Ultimate Guide to Prostate Pleasure, one of the wonderfully informative books that we carry in our shop, I was inspired to write a blog post on the topic. Enjoying pleasure from prostate stimulation isn’t mentioned frequently, and when it is, it’s often shrouded in myth. Despite the lack of knowledge and shame surrounding the the topic, exploring the prostate can be enjoyed by many.

I’d like to take the time to address a few of the more common ideas and myths that are often deterrents to exploring the prostate. So here we go!
